How do I create an account and list an ad?
Click “Register” at the top right. After creating an account, you can customize your profile, list ads, and receive messages. We only need your email address and a few minutes of your time. If you do not want your full name shown on the site you van leave it out and your username will be shown.
The requirement for listing an ad is that you accept Bitcoin (via the regular or Lightning network). Click on “List Ad” under “My account” and fill in all fields. Please follow these guidelines:
- Do not have more than 20 ads listed annually and do not exceed the total amount of €2.000.
Keep the prices low and below the purchase value
Do not offer services on this website
The items must have been bought for personal use
You should not aim to sell for profit
Remember to delete your ad after the item is sold. This prevents disappointment for other interested buyers.
Is Satsforstuff liable if something goes wrong with a transaction?
No, the transaction is not handled by Satsforstuff. Satsforstuff is not involved in the sale between users (this is a peer-to-peer transaction). Make sure you understand how a Bitcoin transaction works and avoid transacting in large amounts.
What are the payment options?
The purpose of this platform is to encourage the use of Bitcoin as a payment method. No other forms of payment are allowed or offered.
How do I place a bid on an ad?
To place a bid, you need to have an account. You can contact the seller through the ad using the ‘Chat with Seller’ button to accept the bid or make a counteroffer. You will have to start a new chat yourself via the pencil and select the seller to send your message. Once an agreement is reached, you can share further terms of the sale and other details directly with each other.
The chat can be deleted by clicking on the three dots in the chat
Can I delete my account?

How can I manage my listings?
Under ‘My Account’ click on ‘My listings’. A screen with your listings will now open. These are the listings you have posted. Click on the dots under Action (desktop) or arrow (mobile) to edit or delete your listing.

How can I search for listings?
Under ‘Home’ click on ‘Buy’. Here you will find a list of ads that you can filter by your region.
What if my region is not available?
The goal is to serve the entire world. However, we are doing this step by step, and currently only the Netherlands region is available. Once enough has been donated, we can expand to other (English-speaking) regions and do better translations (for example the categories are not yet translated).
Are there any costs associated with selling?
No, this platform does not charge any fees for posting ads or selling. Do you appreciate the platform? Then consider donating via the QR code/donate button.
How do I recognize scammers?
You are being asked for your seed phrase/private key (12–24 words)
The asking price is unrealistically low
The seller wants to be paid upfront
The seller is offering multiple popular items at the same time
The seller prefers to communicate outside the platform, for example via WhatsApp or email
The seller is rushing the transaction, forcing you to make a hasty decision
The seller wants to use a middleman to handle delivery (for example, a transport company or courier service)

Work is also underway on a separate platform for offering services, which this website does not provide.
Our services are free for listing ads! There is an option to purchase an advanced account for a one-time fee (coming soon).
